PPID at the Quality Council of India (QCI) was conceived by Mr. Adil Zainulbhai and Dr. Ravi P Singh, former Chairperson and Secretary General respectively. They recognized the significant potential for youth engagement in government initiatives and the necessity for a dedicated workforce to analyze data and facilitate implementation. Their initiative laid the groundwork for PPID. They observed that while the government possessed abundant information and data, there was a lack of dedicated personnel to effectively analyze and execute projects. To bridge this gap, PPID was initially known as Chairman’s and is now established as a division within QCI, mandated to provide support to various government departments and ministries.
